Service Description
A gentle, sensory-friendly introduction to water for children who are hesitant, fearful, or avoidant of aquatic play. Choose this if your child is fearful of water, avoids baths/showers, or needs a slow, calming introduction to aquatic play. These children may have a high risk of drowning due to lack of exposure to the water. We use gentle sensory play, floating toys, water-friendly props, and nurturing routines to help your child feel more comfortable in and around the pool. For many, this is a first joyful step into a world that previously felt overwhelming.
Cancellation Policy
Pre-Payment Policy All sessions must be paid in full when booking to secure your child’s time slot. Refund/Reschedule Policy Refunds will not be provided; however, you may reschedule your session without penalty if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. 48-Hour Cancellation Window Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before their scheduled session time to avoid fees. This provides The Play Pool time to fill the opening with another client. Late Cancellations (Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice and more than 2 hours notice) 50% of the session fee will be charged, and the remaining 50% will be credited on a future Play Pool Session. This 50% fee helps compensate your instructor for their reserved time. No-Shows or Same-Day Cancellations (Within 2 Hours of session start time) 100% of the session fee will be charged. No refunds or credits will be given. Emergency Exceptions We understand life happens! In cases of a family emergency, we may waive fees once per season (4x annually) with proper communication. Weather or Pool Closure Pool Sessions are rain or shine; however, if a session is canceled due to severe weather or a facility issue, you can reschedule the session to a future date with no charge. Late Arrival: Session times cannot be extended due to late arrival. Please arrive on time to maximize your child’s experience in the water. Late Pickup: A late pickup fee may apply as follows: 1–15 minutes late: 25% of the session fee Each additional 15-minute increment: An additional 25% of the session fee Why This Policy Exists Your child’s instructor sets aside time just for them. No-shows and late cancellations take away paid opportunities. This policy allows us to pay our instructors fairly while maintaining a flexible, child-centered program.
